The North West School of Wooden Boat Building, together with Small Craft Advisor and The Northwest Maritime Center is offering a SCAMP building class that is going to be an amazing experience.

Build SCAMP with the designer, New Zealander John Welsford, and Scott Jones, our own boatshop manager who built the first SCAMP.

It's a new boatbuilder's dream come true!

The tuition for the class is $995 (reduced from $1,200) for all participants whether they are building their own SCAMP to take home, or are participating as a student to learn the skills.

The kit is available fromSmall Craft Advisor. Normally the kit is $2,300, but they are offering it to class participants at a discounted rate of $1,800. You would also need to purchase the epoxy (the Boat School can help with that). And, you'll need to buy a trailer or bring a way to get your SCAMP hull home to continue working on it. We have arranged a special price with Westside Marine here in Port Townsend for a trailer.

Call the North West School of Wooden Boat Building at 360.385.4948 to register, or if you have any questions.
